Critical Insight Company is a strategic information services company with over 15 years of experience serving Financial Service Companies in the North East.  Critical Insight currently has 1 employee, Eric Giorgio, in addition to a host of strategic affiliations with other consultants and specialists.  I consider my size to be a strength as it enables me to focus on a handful of highly valued clients offering them my highest standards in a timely manor.


 

My experience began in the 90s as an employee of two of the top financial institutions in the North East, Fleet Bank and Citizens Financial Group.  My consulting path began in 1999 with various strategic relationships leading up to my decision in Dec. 2005 to pursue a sole proprietorship business model.  The basis of this decision was that I felt I could better serve my clients by focusing on my core competencies without the distractions of partners, employees, and ancillary service offerings.  My client’s would agree with my decision because I have never been more in tune with their strategies or more responsive to their needs than I am today.

 

From day one, my value proposition is bridging the gap between business strategy and information technology.  Management at all levels requires fact based information upon which to make informed decisions.  One challenge is that as our systems become more sophisticated the data contained in them becomes more complex.  Another challenge is that not all systems evolve at the same pace.  I level the playing field by being a custom solution provider.  I can sit in the brainstorming session with middle management to discuss the problem at hand, find a solution, reach out to the necessary technical personal and speak their language to acquire the data needed, program the solution myself, analyze the results, and prepare and present a business presentation suitable for Executive Management.  I describe it that way to demonstrate the range of my value proposition, not that I try to be a one man show.  On the contrary I try to maximize the utilization of my client’s internal resources and empower them with more tools and abilities.  My goal is not to create dependency but to be viewed as a resource whose value exceeds his cost.
